Just read in a e-mail from Deer & Deer Hunting Mag that the Harrisburg show has been postponed. This has to do with the selling of ARs at the show. This sucks as we were looking foward to going for the first time.
Thought I would pass this on.

I read on Twitter that it had been cancelled. Also Ruger,S&W and some other manufacture's and big name hunting celebrities have also pulled out. It is a shame that it was postponed or cancelled either one but it does make a statement. The company putting the show on was planning to not allow so called "Black Gun's" in the event. Lot's of money lost . Not only for the event center but the city itself. Just wonder if the people who planned on going woill lose out on any prepaid accomadation's they may have had. On another note Dick's sporting good's has pulled all AR type gun's from the shelf did it right after the horrible Sandy Hook school shooting. Needless to say I will not be spending my money at Dick's

We booked a overnighter at a hotel in Harrisburg. We live in N.J. about a three hour ride each way. Will be calling hotel to cancel.
I consider myself lucky that I found out about the show being cancelled. Imagine if I drove there and then found out.

Joe, I understand that there is a smaller show somewhere in Pa. that has always run at about the same time. From some of the articles I've read, it sounds like a lot of the companies that pulled out of the Harrisburg show will be participating in the other one. Sorry, but I don't have any info about where it's located.

Yes there is the Fort Washington show outside Phila. Went there last year, will probably go this year.
