today i got letter from nahc, and it stated that i won a lifetime membership is this for real?

Before getting too excited about the offer, I would recommend you take another look at the letter. It may say something like You've been selected to upgrade to Life Membership, but I doubt it is offering a free Life membership. If after re-reading the letter, you still feel that it is offering a free Life membership, I'd recommend calling the club and verifying the offer is valid.
This club is in the business of making money, so it's highly unlikely they'll give away free memberships.

Yep, like grandpops said, the letter usually states that you have been selected to receive the offer of becoming a Lifer, then it goes on to explain the costs and the sign up benefits and payment plans. It's exactly like the Trophy Life offer that we Lifers get all of the time.

They keep trying to suck you in... errrr... get you to "upgrade" Ron? They gave up on me... ;-)

Well I can't remember how many times this has come up on here .But no it's not free .I haven't gotten a trophy up grade notice in close to 5 years .

They mus figure that you and I are just incorrigible Joe...

The last one I got was in October or November.

What do they look like? I can't hardly wait to see one of them "upgrade" notices that you guys are complining about.
I can certainly use it to start a fire. LOL

I guess they figured they were just spending to much money .

I received one today, with a gun entry form for a limited edition Beretta Onyx over under. I have handled one of these and would like one really bad, but upon reading it says the drawing is Feb 1st. Well today is Jan 31st. Not possible. What a scam. I would consider, but not now. This ius the reason I logged on here to begin with, to look for an email link which I could not find.

I got one of those a few months ago.  If I remember right.  They gave you a choice of three packages to choose from.  Nice guns.  It went into the file. Got other bills that have a higher  priority.  I'm even passing up an elk hunt for next year because money has gotten tighter. That just kills me to do that.

I'm a TLM and I still get them letters. What does that tell you?

They sent me one for life member and when I sent it back informing them I was already a lfe member they signed me up anyway .

No it is not real. I received that same letter not to long ago. You have to pay almost 30 bucks per month.

Or you could just go ahead and pony up the $300 or $350, whatever it is these days, and get it over with.
