Groupon recently pulled ads and coupons for gun-related services and merchandise.
I would recommend that gun owners & supporters who used their services in the past send them a polite letter informing them youll not be utilizing them until they reconsider ther new policies, as well as any other business that sides with the pc crowd.

I know nothing about Groupon. I am not a big Boycott fan either. But maybe it is time, the gun owners stand up and say we are a very large group, if you want to bow to the smaller PC crowd who realy may not support you in the first place, go ahead let them support you. Many gun owners remain quite about many things, shop for good deals and quality idems, not for political reasons so much, But that does need to change. We need to stop quitely supporting those who give into the PC political pressure. |

Charlie, that's why I stopped doing business with BOA, Burger King, Coca-Cola, and Kraft foods, to name a few. Any organization that expresses anti-gun or anti-hunting views cease to get my business. Geico, Progressive, and AIG are also on the list, along with AAA and AARP, which is why I've never done business with those companies. |

RT4, I don't agree with Groupon's decision, but at least they've actually got some skin in the game. I don't understand why any of the organizations you've mentioned above would express a view one way or another when it comes to guns, or hunting. I don't see it as relative to their business. |

For some reason many businesses make their politics known whether is pro or anti gun or pro gay (general. Mills Pillsbury ) I think that business shouldn't be allowed to endorse any candidates or positions as these entities don't vote or regulate , the people do.

Lunker, I believe that many of the major corporations in the country have sold out to the liberals, and in their opinions they don't feel that conservatives are worth the effort needed to keep our business. They obviously buy into the idea that liberals are now the majority in this country, based on the elections of Obama and the power of the anti-organizations. The companies I listed are all supporters of PETA, HSUS, and Sarah Brady and Michael Bloomberg, or as in the case of BOA have recently committed actions that were designed to cripple gun manufacturers that had been long time customers. Since I don't fly, I didn't mention the major airlines that also fall into the category of anti-gun and anti-hunting. |
