I don't know if this has any truth to it. But, with all of the crap going on now as far as gun control is concerned, I wouldn't run anything past the tyrant we have in office.

Yes there is a thing on fox about it all so .I see it as his way of doing what is being said .Look how many Obama has forced out sense he has been in .

This can and is being done BUT one must remember that even the ones who have no problem doing this they will end up with a much smaller number of the actual ones to do their bidding as the majority of the backbone of the military ( the enlisted and enough officers ) will not and will leave their post to be with their family's and keep in mind that even those who are not married nor have children still have their immediates family's and will not want their friends to be shooting at their OWN family's. This is our saving grace as once they leave the officers will not have the grunts they need to actually carry out thier illegal orders. When considering the sheer numbers of the civilains and then throw-in the ones who will leave the military and we have our own militia that will vastly outnumber the remaing the ones who stay there will be millions and all will be armed. The biggest threat will be all the new robot weapons systems such as the drones and the other new things that civilains heav been kept in the dark about. Hopefully the ones abandoning their post will bring along their weapons which will include some pilots, their aircraft, and their ground support crews. We shall see.

Obama will be calling for the UN peacekeepers to come in and do the dirty work. He knows most of our military will refuse to follow what they consider to be unconstitutional and illegal orders.

Don't think the military will ever fire on the citizens of America? I recall Kent State University. Do You?

Those were Ohio National Guardsmen, who were just kids themselves. Also, I seem to remember that there was no official order given to fire, it was a reaction by some nervous guard members and became one of those spontaneous overreaction events. I don't believe the regular military would have reacted in that manner at Kent State.

BTW, I had a professor at GSU who had been one of the protestors while he was an undergraduate at Kent State during the confrontation. He was one of the major reasons I changed majors in college. To say that he was a total left wing liberal would be an understatement.

I remember reading some things about Kent State, people remember the shooting and forget that there were organizers to the riots and protests. These "leaders" wore red shirts and were always conveniently gone when police showed up. There were fires set an when the firefighters tried to run hoses, a bunch of people showed up with ice picks to puncture the hoses.
As for the guardsmen, they were pushed around for days and the group that fired the shots were pushed into a corner' a baseball backstop, if I remember correctly and as they reported, they thought they heard a gunshot----no one is sure exactly what it was, gun?, car backfiring? or possibly a firecrsacker---at any rate, cornered and with the thought that they might be under attack, they reacted.
The Blame always seems to come back to the guard and the organizers of this "Anti-America", in America, got away scott free.

Not apologizing for the leftist protesters at Kent but re-read your own comment. How do you think the narrative would read if shots were fired on you and I while we were protesting the current regime?

I didn't intend to place the blame on the guardsmen at Kent State, as I believe the entire incident was the fault of the protest organizers. I do believe that a more seasoned, better trained full time military would have reacted differently in the same situation. One of the contentious points I had with the professor was when I pointed out that if the protestors had complied with the police, and hadn't posed a riot threat, then the National Guard wouldn't have been sent to the scene in the first place. He and I got into a shouting match and I quickly realized that there was no way I'd be able to graduate if I remained in the Political Science program, since he wasn't the most extreme liberal in the department!!!!!!

The point is, the government will fire on protestors. You may not have agreed with the Kent State protestors, as I don't, but the government doesn't care about your views, it simply demands compliance. They will fire on you if they get the chance, don't doubt it!

And if your views are revolutionary and threatening to their power, you will be killed and most idiotic American's will support it. Remember Ruby Ridge and Waco?

I have tried to get information from both Snopes and Askus.com about this and neither one of them has approached the subject as of the last time I looked, which tells me that something along the lines of the article is happening.

Right on the mark VJP. Remember, govt and mass media go hand in hand. Whatever the govt wants the public to believe is what will be reported on CNN.
