Republican negotiating with Harry Reid?

Reports are that Mitch McConnell is working on a back-room deal to get Harry Reid the votes he needs to break Senate rules and gut the filibuster -- paving a clear path for gun control.

I'm worried Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell may be about to cut a deal with Harry Reid . . .

. . . that's why I need you to TAKE ACTION at once.

You see, Reid may still be just a few votes short of the 51 he needs to break Senate rules and use the “nuclear option” to destroy the Senate filibuster.

But if McConnell cuts a deal with Reid to deliver the votes he needs, he’ll have cleared a path for the passage of Barack Obama’s Gun Ban Plan.

Yep ! WE all need to be calling his office as well as our respective pols letting them know that their own election will be forthcoming and if they support this in any way they CAN and WILL be voted out of their do nothing, high paying jobs !!!!!

Do you have any clue what the ramifications would be to the Republican Party... a total meltdown!

The problem is many Republicans are RINO's and have been sympathetic to the Democratic Strategies.

Most believe they won't get re-elected unless they say and do what the voters want... give the farm away... kick the can down the road!

Strom Thurmond holds the record for the longest filibuster in the history of the Senate. It occurred during the vote on the Civil Rights Bill, and at the time he was a Democrat. It was after the final vote that he switched parties and became a Republican.
