You still have not answered how much you pay to go hunting on fed lands .And the tags you by from the state is not federal . well, there is NO way to determine an exact cost. to many variables. but, will make up a hunt and keep it basic for you. buy a new gun for $500.00. P-R tax would be $55.00. buy ammo, $50.00. another $5.50. so far, you have spent $60.50 to hunt on that federal land. now, we also have fuel taxes of between 18.4 to 24.4 cents per gallon on either regular or diesel. round number of 100 gallons of fuel, that would be $18.40(using regular gas price). now, we are up to 78.90 to hunt that federal land. now, this one will not get a number. what you pay in taxes, and what percentage goes where, is anyone's guess. BUT, according to the 2012 federal budget numbers, the department of natural resources and environment received $37,054,000.00. if you want to know what state gets how much, you look it up. basic factors are people, amount of land. so, for this example, the cost would be $78.90 plus whatever % of your taxes went to the DNR. sure there are other factors, but not worth my time to get them all. so, now your questions have been answered. so, let's see if you are man enough to answer the questions YOU ignored. my guess is no. here's your chance to prove me wrong. Well as far as the taxes on the new gun .I and you would pay the same taxes . As far as the taxes on fuel we pay the same taxes . And we all pay those taxes even if we hunt on our own land . Miners pay an additional 140.00 plus state taxes to do what we do .

And maybe you should check into solar panels and a power pack and inverters .They work wonders in the wilderness . And its all green .No gas .

Yeah your right mr. lunkerdog...my bad.I read back a little and now I know hes not a liberal. Im glad you had a good laugh. I knew you were not ripping on me, youve always been cool.But in that sense I still say he could be more considerate to others. Im far from "thin- skinned", And then again you dont have to make yourself look more superior than others by calling them names,pointing out their short cummings.I figure this is half the problems in america, no respect for elders, not being disciplined, It a discrace to way our founding fathers wanted us to dwell.I dont know, but I wonder at times , "did I really fight for these people"..... yes, I know I have said bad things in the past, but I have turned over a new leaf. I just refuse to express my thoughts like I used to.. "I wouldnt count on that "lmao
