| "The BIG Lie"
The phrase was also used in a report prepared during the war by the United States Office of Strategic Services in describing Hitler's psychological profile:[5][6]
His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it.[7]

Well, that ain't right at all- and I'm not just talking about the opinions expressed. Your title is "Not from an American's mouth", but the author is an American. |

And of course he just had to show his colors. Act like a duck, walk like a duck, quack like one, and they are going to call you a duck. The truth might hurt sometimes, but it's still the truth. |

Listen, noob- This was a relatively benign topic before you showed up running your gate. If you don't have anything useful to contribute to the discussion, FO. Nice spelling in your signature line, btw. Talk about "idiocracy"... |

YH, did you ever stop to think that idiocracy was an intentional comment. Take liberal idiot voters and let them elect liberal democrats, and the resultant government is an idiocracy!
BTW, how are we supposed to know that the author is an American? The publication is Canadian, and when the author's profile is clicked, all that is provided is a list of his articles. I couldn't find a bio anywhere to tell me he isn't a Canuck.

Thank you Mr. YH, I stand corrected. If misspelling something is bothering you, I'll make an effort to use a spell check(if I find one) next time. I sure don't want to insult a good subject that is only trying to protect the proper use of the language. I'll move on to other threads that might have more uneducated and forgiving members. |

Pay no mind to YH, Ternera spell it the way it sounds, I do and most of us understand what is being said. YH likes to point out such things, it makes him feel superior in everyway, to those of us ingorant, stupid people who can not spell, therefore our misspelled opinions are ignorant and stupid and meaning less. |

"You" showed us you were not prejudist the first time around. Now you
showed us you are stupid and voted for him. Hello Idiocracy! "You" showed us you were not prejudice the first time around. Now you
showed us you are stupid and voted for him. Hello Idiocy! Okay, I'm not jumping on the "misspelling" bandwagon as I'm one of the worst speller's I know, but I'm not sure that idiocracy is the word YH was going after, even though according too my spiel chock it is spelled wrong as evidenced by my spiel chocks correction above. Also I can't find the word idiocracy in my "1966" American College Dictionary. But that doesn't mean much, as we all know that the word is common American slang these days, it may be in some of the newer dictionary's. It is also the title of a 2006 satirical science fiction movie. So too say that idiocracy is spelled wrong may in itself be idiocy... As far as American slang goes I would liken the use of the word idiocracy to the use of the word irregardless, which means the same thing as regardless. Back in 1966 the use of the word irregardless was considered poor use of the term regardless, but not necessarily wrong as the word is listed in my dictionary. Now lets discuss the word prejudice |
