maybe he just said they were stolen so they couldn't be confiscated later.

And there was an attempted robbery earlier in the week of another one of the people listed. Apparently he had some really good, strong gun safes.

Staarting to fall into place .First the guns are stole and then used to kill some one .Then the owner gets the blame for owning them in the first place .

Yup, this is the second home on that map that was broken in to, they have one of the suspects in custody from the first break in. They said in that one that the guns were the target of the burglars.
