"The BIG Lie" The phrase was also used in a report prepared during the war by the United States Office of Strategic Services in describing Hitler's psychological profile:[5][6] His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it.[7]

I loved the bumper sticker "A man with a gun is a citizen, a man without a gun is a subject"
They can have my guns when they can pry them from my cold dead fingers. A man with a gun is a citizen, a man without a gun is a subject.

What is a tyrant and war, but armed conflict, conflict where peaceful debate and talking about an issue has failed. Where one side or the other has taken up arms, to defend or suppress the rights of the other. A Tyrant wishes to suppress the rights of others and would certainly prefer they be un-armed. History has shown this time and time again. We are fortunate we live in a country were we are still able to openly debate without the real threat of armed force and conflict to quite the dissenting. It is the knowledge that the dissenters can and will defend their right to be heard, with arms, that keep either side from forcefully pushing their agenda on the other.
Sure there are those mad men such as the shooters at the theater in CO. and in Sandy Hook as well as the other shootings that have happen across this country. But mass killings are something that has and does happen in every country around the World, regardless of their gun laws. Crime and murder is something that happens around the World regardless of the gun laws. And nothing will ever stop that.
The mass majority of gun owners in America are law-bidding citizens meaning and doing no harm to anyone. Preferring to talk problems out, and allow law enforcement guided by the Constitution to protect them and enforce the laws. And the Courts to judge and if needed punish those who break our laws, guided by the Constitution. But if forced to do so, will defend themselves and their loved ones, be it from a criminal or possible tyrants in our own Government. The 2nd Amendment protects and guarantees that inalienable right.
What is a tyrant; Plato and Aristotle define a tyrant as, "one who rules without law, looks to his own advantage rather than that of his subjects, and uses extreme and cruel tactics—against his own people as well as others".[3] During the seventh and sixth centuries BC, tyranny was often looked upon as an intermediate stage between narrow oligarchy and more democratic forms of polity. However, in the late fifth and fourth centuries, a new kind of tyrant, the military dictator, arose, specifically in Sicily.

Now it would be true to say the Liberals of this Country do opperate within our laws. But they do look to their own advantages rather than that of those who would be their subjects. They would take away the ability for those subjects to defend themsevles, by taking the right of the Majority of law-bidding citizens to own firearms.

Could it not be said this is a Tyrant, painting the picture of law-bidding citizens exercising their rights to sell, traded, thus to bear arms, as arming mass murders, planting fear, and hopfully the call for the disarmment of law-bidding citizens;

Miniter: Looking for sociopaths at SHOT

Images-1Our good friend Frank Miniter takes a decidedly skewed approach to reporting on this week's SHOT Show in today's Forbes: "They say these people are dangerous. The 60,000 people walking the 12.5 miles of aisles in a temporary city of towering gun-manufacturer booths in Las Vegas this week are supposed to be sociopaths–or, if not trigger happy murderers themselves, they’re supposed to be people who heartlessly arm mass murderers for profit."
The 1st Amendment insures our Right to speak out when it or our other Rights are Transgressed. The 2nd insures the 1st. Native Texan
