Hunting Forum

I'm excited that I finally got a  handicapped member(not 100%) coming over to the farm for the last weekend of the hunting season to visit and see if luck favors him and shoots something. Even a squirrel; we have plenty of those tree rats. If he has a positive experience, I might get to meet and "help" other members.

 

Well if I lived closer I would be there to hunt with you .You guys be good loved my visit .

Well, hell, I missed the only one I saw. According to ternera and Travis I had an opportunity at another one that was "begging me to shoot her", but I fumbled with my scope covers and on top of that I never saw the damn thing in the first place. I'm still not sure that our host and Travis didn't have this "sighting" cooked up to mess with me! Travis did kill a nice doe, and ternera killed a really big old doe, so we did come back to SC with two deer in the cooler. I will say that the ternera plantation was a fantastic piece of property, and our host was extremely gracious in providing us with access to his property as well as his guided tour and hand drawn maps of it. My only real regret is that I got sick early Sunday morning, and had to cut our stay short.....that, and I couldn't see this supposed suicidal doe, and I couldn't make a head shot on the only one I did see. Hopefully, we'll be going back next year 'cause I need redemption!!!!!!!!!!!!

I give this "outfitter" a 5 star rating, and would advise any handicapped/disabled (or blind, cripple, and crazy) member to take ternera up on his gracious offer.  I can't thank him enough for providing us the opportunity, and I can't apologize enough for being such a lousy guest; at least I did take a good hunter along with me on this trip, so ternera's efforts weren't totally wasted!!!!!!!!!!!

My and Holly's experience with him and his wife was great .Hey RT did he make you work .He did me .Loved my time there though .

Helll yeah, he spent all his free time cleaning other people's deer. You weren't expecting me to let him sit down on his fanny, did you?
