Do you think that after serving as a patrol agent for 8.8 years that they succumb to the futililty of their efforts over the years?

The same thing is happening with this now that took place back in the early 80's with the Drug Task Force in Miami. The drug smugglers were making so much money that they were able to offer the officers million dollar cash bribes and some took it. The same apply's here as the big cartels are able to offer million plus dollar bribes in cash and some who have been witness to the futile effort to stop the flow of drugs have and I'm sure will take the money. When faced with the prospect of a million plus dollars in cash versus the amount they are paid yearly and not having to worry about being shot makes the offer a bit more than some can say no to.
