As far as I have seen, it only applies to assault style rifles. Meaning a rifle with "one" assault style feature which means a pistol grip, etc. Pistols should be safe and all other rifles that don't display a assault feature. But yes, they have one foot in the door, what will be next, pistol grip shotguns?
The bill reads as "assault weapons" Pistol grip stock on a 10/22, or a shotgun? It's now an assault weapon and subject to registration.
Pistols are safe from what? According to the new law 7 rounds is the max that a detachable mag can be loaded with.
Note I stated "as far as I have seen", now we know the truth. Heck, even if we chamber a round, and have seven in the clip, we are still screwed! This is only the begininning to disarm America!

It will go federal soon just watch!
