Dollar-signs The past year's record sales of firearms and ammunition is on track to translate into a boon for states in the form of Federal Aid in Wildlife Restoration appropriations, under the Pittman-Robertson Act. According to a preliminary report, appropriations could surpass $500 million this year, up from $371 million paid in 2012 for excise taxes paid in 2011. Paul A. The Obama administration has already made plans to sequester Pittman-Robertson funds, just as LBJ did Social Security.

It just occurred to me--All this talk of banning "assault" weapons was just a ploy to stimulate the economy. Manufacturers are building, merchants are selling, people are buying. Things are looking up.
They can have my guns when they can pry them from my cold dead fingers. A man with a gun is a citizen, a man without a gun is a subject.
