Which model? The "Millenium" line-up had a few different models.

No personal experience with that gun, but am a fan of Taurus products.  Looks like a decent typical, modern-day design.  Anything specific you want to know?

Thats good info.  Im glad i bought it.I already fired it and was impressed with the accruacy.Thats also exactly why i wanted the  weapon, for concealment. There was also a smaller sig sauer i was looking at but the price was doublee the price of the taurus. Im really happy with this weapon. Thanks for the info.

The PT-111 pro has already had all of the trigger work and pro shop fine tuning done to it, which saves about $1200.00 compared to a similar S&W or Colt. Did you get the one with the redwood grips and the gold screws?

Nice gun! I was looking at that website and my PT1911SS is now $900.00! I paid $600.00 for it 3 years ago. Haven't had a problem with it though.

I have a new XDS in .45 acp on the way. I believe it'll make a much better carry gun than my full sized XD .45. I do like that PT 1911, but it's a little bit heavy for carry in my case.

Not to thread hi-jack, but ....

I have one of those.  I recommend, depending on the size of your hands, that you either get the Springfield XDS 7-round magazines (up from 5-round that come standard) or get the Pearce Grips XDS magazine extended floorplates (available on Amazon.com of all places!) that add the pinky finger rest.  They make the XDS grip just a tad-bit longer and make the gun a lot more controllable.

I ordered two of the seven round magazines at the same time I ordered the gun.

Some one needs to read the OP's original post. He was asking about the PT-111 NOT the PT-1911. If the PT-111 Millineum Pro is anything like the PT-140 MilPro that I had, it is a good weapon. The 1st generation guns had some problems, as do most 1st gen guns regardless of manufacturer, but those bugs have been worked out. I never had any problems with my PT-140. As my old drill sergeant used to say...."Let's pay attention to detail" when answering posts.

Really? We were mostly relating to simialr Taurus products with good reviews, no one purposely took away from the original post. You, yourself brought up the PT-140, eh hem? "As you were"

At least the PT-140 that I brought up is still in the same family of pistols, with the only difference being caliber. The Millineum family came in .380acp, 9mm, .40S&W, and .45acp. All are totally different from the 1911 platform.

Wow! Relax Don

Tell ya what? I'll take the hit for the beginning of the 1911 talk, (not that it was any of your business to police the thread in the first place). I "only" mentioned I saw my PT1911 was priced much higher than when I bought it. I never compared platforms. If that's what took the thread out into left field, so be it? OK? You feel better now? Smile!

My Millenium is the PT .45 Pro. And in the original post, I did make the mistake of thinking he was discussing the PT1911. There are several models of Taurus handguns with similar names, so the confusion isn't always one of not reading correctly. The actual Millenium line is an off shoot of the PT 24/7 models produced by Taurus.

That explains why you mentioned the colored grips, screws, and trigger work, ? That threw me back for a minute, but, I just thought that might be an option on the PT111. I've been looking at those grips myself.
