Ever hear of "targeted polls"? But then, a "well respected news source" would not use tactics like that, would they? RIGHT... |

YH your delusional!! I don't care about a poll 2 years old!!!
I'm sure they polled the same people Howard Stern did ... idiots at best.
No one ever said all Americans where smart... recent history has proven otherwise and their IQ's are dropping faster than slick Willy's draws did!

| "The BIG Lie"
The phrase was also used in a report prepared during the war by the United States Office of Strategic Services in describing Hitler's psychological profile:[5][6]
His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it.[7]

I'm giddy like a schoolgirl after that comment...
Cash- I believe that poll to be an accurate measure of the general population's opinion. Were one to associate themselves with, say, only Hollywood glitterati, then Clinton's numbers would be higher, and Flubya's would be even worse. If one associates himself with, say, no one but Teabaggers, the opposite would be the case. I associate myself with neither, so I'm afforded more of a view from 20,000 ft.... |

How about this poll, just a simple overall like or dislike based on actual Presidential actions and no other influencing factors. From someone who actually lived during their terms and remembers each of them and what was done during their terms in office.
Kennedy dislike LBJ dislike Nixon like Ford like Carter dislike Reagan like GHW Bush like Clinton dislike GW Bush like Obama fuggin' hate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hell, this one is probably just as scientifically correct as any other poll!!!!!!!!!!

Being much older then most, haveing lived thru all of the mentioned administrations, I do feel that these surveys were probably as close as they could be, considering that most that replyed to the suvey, only know what they have read about the first 3 administrations listed. JFK, I liked, very fair rateing, on the other hand, LBJ was nuthin' but a thievein' crook, and IMO, a cold blooded murder. I wouldn't give that azz the sweat off my nurts, if the sucker was diein' of thirst! With the exception of Reagan, who I woulda rated a bit higher, the rest are fair assesments. It is also my opinion, that the Tea party is nothing more then honest folks that are tired of our big government, "Buisness as usual" stratagys. I personally consider myself a moderate conservative, and do support the tea party, but then again, I did support Goldwater and Ron Paul! What do I know??

Goldwater's campaign was the first political experience I ever had. Then I was active in the Nixon campaign as a teenage Republican, and met Spiro Agnew, I knew Harry Dent and Lee Atwater, and called Strom Thurmond, Uncle Strom, I remember JFK almost brought us to annhilation, and LBJ revealing his surgical scars and showing his ignorance to the world, while pilfering Soc. Sec. for the first time. I've always said, that if JFK hadn't been assassinated, he wouldn't be remembered so favorably. |
