Hey Guys,
I finally got this Civil War Era computer to work (somewhat). Had to log onto Ruger's website to get through. Guess any road will get you there if you don't know where you're(I'm) going. Anyway, it's done. If it would only do some good. The people who are supposed to read these things never see them,IMO. Some "3rd Wiper" screens them and only forward the ones they feel will make their bosses feel warm and fuzzy.

Done.  I didn't have any trouble with it.  Even sent one in with my wifes name on it.  I heard that the ammo is  going to targeted.  They can't get our guns.  But, they can make it impossible to shoot them if we can't afford to buy ammo,or to reload it.  It's starting already.  Look at the price or the availabilty of the ammo.  It obscene.  We need to fight for our ammo now too.
I read that if your a vet.  Your already a target of the government.  Us vets have either combat experience.  Or, combat training and know how to operate, and take care of the equipment.  We will be the ones who are visited first if that durn U.N. treaty is agreed on and signed by that jerk in the White House.

Purchased an AR-15 online from a major company that will go unnamed. Made the deal 12/16/12 and the gun was supposed to ship 12/28 on or before. Since then, I have received no communication from the company even when I attempted numerous calls and E-mails. Their customers website has been down for over 2 weeks. I have no way to know the status of my order. My Visa card has not been charged as of yet... Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue.

I'm not sure which company you ordered from but there has been a back order of at least 5 months on most AR type weapons due to the overwhelming demand. I have searched all over and this has been the norm. Most companies are overrun with emails right now and can't even keep up responses to them, let alone answer the phone. I know Stag, Wilson Combat, Bushmaster, Colt, and others are struggling just to keep distributors orders. Buckle down it may be a long wait.

I recieved the standard letter from my Congressman and Senator stateing they had recieved my letter from Ruger. I then took that letter and added to it. Ask about why they would alllow the Anti-gun people demend We show Id and face tougher Background checsk for a right protected by the2nd Amendment, while they blocked the checking of ID for those voteing, not to stop them from voteing, but just to check that they are who they say they are. The back ground check may stop a few who do not need guns, but will likely do little to stop such things as Sandy Hook. But it i more well be designed to keep guns out of the hands of law bidding citizens. There is not much differance bettween ask for a broung check for someone exercising the right to buy a gun than asking for a background check on somone exercise their right to vote. And voteing has more far reaching effects on our Country than some nut job buying a gun. Write your Senators and Congressman yourself with a follow up letter to the one Ruger sent for you. Let them know you will be watching, and if they do not stand up to the PC BS crowd you will be voteing for someone who will.I do not vote for my Rep to back down because somone does not like the way he said something and starts calling him names. BS is BS.
