Did you read the membership agreement? You know the part that states you will have the opportunity to get chosen for testing. The last time I looked, there was no guarantee that a member would ever get picked for a test product. It's right there along with the part about the " try it and buy it" program. The NAHC isn't actually a club, it's a for profit business owned and operated by a conglomerate known as the North American Membership Group. Club's have officers elected by the membership and all of it's rules and by laws have to be approved under parliamentary procedures by a quorum vote of the members at a regularly scheduled club meeting. Corporations have similar rules, but the board of directors do all of the voting. In my over 35 years of membership, I don't recall a single "club" meeting or voting procedure, unlike the NRA, NWTF, DU, and other membership organizations. For your $12.00 dollars you get a magazine subscription, a bumper sticker, a patch, and access to the boards, along with the opportunity to fill out a profile for StuffStuff and the ability to earn points to qualify for products you select that you would like to get picked to test. You also get products shipped to you on a regular basis that you may either purchase or mark "refused, return to sender" and drop back in the mail. If you open the package, then you have the option of purchasing it or paying to ship it back. That is what your membership is equivalent to. Your benefit, should you chose to utilize it, is the use of these boards for information and bonding with others who share the same enjoyment of hunting and gun ownership!!!!!!!!!!!! |
