I use the same broadheads I use with my compound....NAP Thunderheads, 100 gr. I use aluminum Easton arrows for now. So far so good with arrow flight and hitting my target. Haven't hunted with my recurve yet, not comfortable with my shooting, but I'll get there! Good luck...

I use Easton Powerflights with my 55lb recurve with 100 gr Magnus Stingers. Unfortunately, I have yet to tag anything for the last two years here in northern Minnesota, but I practice weekly.

rshafer: scroll 1 page down and you'll find a section on archery. You can read what has been posted, and might be able to get more answers there. Welcome to the boards.

You can't get anymore "traditional" than the Fred Bear double edge broadhead with the razor inserts,. I used to use them all of the time when I shot a traditional long bow and recurve setup.
