Do you think that the people that is doing this, gives a rat's azz or shoit about what money he/or she is using? "Smell the roses".

Not at all... Just the opposite.  That is why I do not like the welfare and foodstamp system. There is no accountability for the government to ensure that they are really helping those who need help and that the money is being used as intended.

I have seen a select few use the welfare  system as it was intended, they went to college went on to get great jobs and have since payed back through taxes more than they ever took.unfortunatly most just use it as a meal ticket and an excuse to sit on thier arses and smoke some dope

Well I will have to say that CA put a stop to a lot of that stuff .That is after they found out people were using them to gamble in the casinos here .

Maybe it's possible in NYC or Chicago, where it seems no legitimate laws are followed; but it's impossible in SC, Ga, and Fl., as I've pointed out in the past! EBT can only be used in grocery or convenience stores to purchase unprepared food items. It's impossible to get cash with an EBT card down here, much less to use it in a package shop or a strip club. I won't say that some folks may not use their cards to purchase food items and then resell those items at a discount for cash and then in turn use that money to do those things, but that is a felony and is a highly punishable offense if caught. The instances mentioned in this article all seem to have been documented in NY, so maybe Bloomberg should focus more on actual criminal activities rather than working to ban guns and sodas over 16 ozs.
