This year's trip to Sandy lake Lodge in Newfoundland was excellent. The moose had started their rut and many were encountered along with black bears. Regardless of the weather, the moose were there and soon on the first morning, three young bulls were taken including mine. ( a 13 point 1050 pounds) . I took the opportunity to get a second tag and  with my  wife, hunted again. We passed up two young bulls and settled for a past his prime 1200+ pound 8 point bull. I have both on video after the shot. The meat from this bull was donated to local families. Here are some pictures of the wall hangers , moose pelt and moose table along with a pair of coyote  pelts. Apparently this site only handles up to 500kb while the pictures are 2.3 mb each. Sorry! I have video as well but it is too large also.

I just tried with pictures from the guide's camera but the attachment only allows 500kb and the pictures are 2-3 mb. Sorry! Other sites easily post my pictures from these cameras through my computer.

Were I ever to decide to moose hunt again (had a moose tag on my 1986 18 day Alaska hunt and passed the only Bull I saw as too small---50-inches), it would be for the AK/Yukon moose but I can kill 5 or 6 animals in Africa for what one costs now......to each his own.
