I'll be hunting Black Bear in the Bitterroot National Forest this fall with a bow. I've hunted out there once before with a rifle and had great success at 250 yards , but i'd like to really close that gap down by about 220 yards or so. It's a spot and stalk type hunt, so baiting is out of the question (actually illegal in MT). I'm thinking about trying a predator call to get him in close, any thoughts?

if you call them they will come. try fawn in distress elect call.but with a bow you might want to be in a treestand. dey might not like it when they only find you for dinner
so goes the church, so goes the nation
