I would recommend that you reduce the load about 10% as compared to what ever bullet you currently use and work up from there. If you are starting from scratch, start near the lower end of what ever loading manual you have for a 130 gr bullet. I have never had a bad experience in doing that with different bullet manufacturers/styles. Now I have only tried a few difference 130 grain bullets in my .270 and al in the endl could handle the 59 gr H4831 I load. I tried Spear Spt, Sierra Spt and SBT, Nosler par and finally Winchester power points. My gun loves the Sierras (both types) and the Nosler Par. It shoots the two Sierras in the same group at 100 yrds and the BT hold up a bit better at 300 yrs. It shoots the Nosler’s about an inch to the right of the Sierra's. Those are all with Winchester LR primers and the 59 gr H4831 with Federal cases.

I haven't ever used Sierra 130 grain bullets. I do use Speer 130 grain spbt with 58 grains of IMR 4831. They have always worked real well for me. I'm talking clover leaf groups at 100 yards. And, they have downed both mulies and whitetails with one shot.

If you get berger vlds I recommend you use a compatable die for reloading them and last time I looked you could access load info off there website and if not give them a calland they will give you some load data. Berger bullets have a different design to them and can be finiky when reloading. So with my experience if you don't have a lot of experience reloading or some good high end dies like the redding compition sereis or lee comp series you might want to go with noslers or sierras
Family is everything with out it you are lost. My prays and thanks go out to our troops and our vets everywhere thanks guys and gals for all you do for our freedom!!
