Just wondering if anyone has tried them, is there a better way to see where my arrow goes? I've heard a lot about lumenok, but don't want to invest in them until I hear an honest hunter's opinion.

The ilumalock is a great product. Although if you watch your shot all the way through. Sometimes we get such buck fever we tend to forget the basics.follow your shot and then see where the deer goes.imagine your shot before you take it and know what's around as you shoot. I knows it sounds like a run around but wben I practice prior to season I practice as much in the feild as I do in the yard.all of these things will help you as much as the iluma lock.but for that early morning or that shot just before you have to leave the woods because the light is dimming. Its a great product.stay safe and good hunting.

Paully new york. Happy new year.

I bought a 3 pack of Carbon Express crossbow bolts that came with a lighted knock. My first deer I hit in the shoulder and left no blood trail. The lighted knock helped me find the arrow 100yds into woods. The deer had biten off the end of it but was still emiting light. A second one broke during target practice. I have only used the last one once on another doe. I liked useing them but was a little dissapointed in their durability. Those arrows also shot lower than the stock arrows that came with the crossbow and have tried a couple of other brands of bolts. I have gone through a lot more arrows than I ever did with my compound.

I haven't found just the lighted moon knocks by themselves in the sporting goods stores yet. When I do I will give them another try. My crossbow shoots 380fps and is really hard to see it in flight, the lighted knock helps form what little I have used them.

I used to hunt with them, I loved them. I live in Idaho now and they are illegal here for some reason. Lets you see where you hit the deer and helps recovering arrows.

The only problem with Lumenoks is you have to know your arrows shaft size and what it is made out of or else they don't work. I went and bought some Nockturnals and they are a lot better in my opinion.

Never really saw the need for them , as I hunt in a tree and the arrow passes through and is stuck in the ground out there but always fletching up to find . Blood on it tells me what is what .

Very True! Most people like myself use them when hunting and recording so you can see where the arrow hits.

When I was using them, only 25% of the time in a tree. Most people know what their arrows are made of and arrowsize, not knockin' ( pun intended) other brand just sayin'.

Yea but some arrows are made of different materials and are not good conductors.
