I use 93 octane gas and still I have to be careful of which brand of gas I buy to avoid the exccessive amount of ethanol. Once I have saved enough funds i will be upgrading my engines perfromance and will be using 101 octane racing fule which is a bit more expensive but has no ethanol and not only will I get better perfromance but will in fact get better MPG by using this gas. There are also a couple of gas additives that you can buy that help lessen the effects of the higher ethanol gas. Do a Google search and find the one that will work for your vehicle and if you can buy it by the case.
