Thank you, guys!!! Nice Christmas with friends but miss having our own kids around. We got the strong howling winds and the temp dropped but only a trace of snow.. Maybe some today---the winds are sure howling now--almost like being back in Green Bay!! NOTTTTTT!!!

Not much shooting on Lake Norfork...mostly rafts of "mud hens"!! A month ago we had huge flocks of ducks out by the shallow water near the island but nada since except coots!!
Nice and warm again today with a lite drizzle..more rain to come. Our lake is way DOWN so rain will be appreciated. Take care and keep your powder dry. :-) |

Looks like I will hunt KS with a bud who bought a hunt in early May.....don't kill them all before I get there!
And don't even ask, I have no clue except to pick him up and drive sumwhar! But it is "free" except for lic!!! |

The private property I hunt on in in OSAGE county is over run with turkeys!!! You drive around and they are in fields and crossing dirt roads everywhere. I'm thankful to have friends that let me hunt deer and turkeys anytime I can make it there. :-)  |

I still have no clue where we are hunting....but it is late---May 7&8....will let you know when I know....be good if we cud hook up! Heck with turkls, I dun kilt one! Maybe more.....

I go thru Fort Scott on 54 West to 75 North at Yates center--then North to Lake Pomona--Michigan Valley. Very nice country with lakes and farms! |
