So- what is it you're doing with it? Just working the action?
The REAL truth of the matter is- most people don't want the truth. They want what they want to hear.

good one YH. But I live in the sticks and police help or an emergency help is at least 30 mins away in good weather. And for the record I never play with my weapons. I'm too old for one and too careful with the other one. You pick.

I find that people keep using the word " assault " before the word weapon which is just plain not good english. Why you ask ? Because the word " assault " is a verb meaning it is an action or shows action which a firearm of any knd simply cannot do. Do you see people using the word " assault " when describing a rock, knife, baseball bat, or anything else that one uses to kill another human being ??? The answer of course is no as these inanimate objects cannot perfrom action no more than a firearm can. We need to point this out to those who are anti-gun and I always turn the conversation back on them by using their misuse of words, thoughts, or ideas.

new word,   assaultliberal lets ban them from the U.S.
the hipocracy off the anti-gun libs never ceases to amaze me!they becry and wail over the deaths of a few children killed by a madman with a gunbut they champion the right of a woman to murder thier child through abortion. thousands are murdered every day but it's O.K. because by murdering them they don't have to take any responsibilities  for the actions that led to the pregnancy
so goes the church, so goes the nation

And YH if our representatives voted with the will of the people we would not have obamacare on our hands .You want to keep bringing up polls .All the polls then and now say the people did not want it .But the socialist liberals put it through anyway .So it is no different when it comes to gun control .The last gun control ban costed several socialists liberals their jobs .That is when congress was taken over by conservatives.

YH the Constittuion was written for a form of Government, to preserve it and protect againest, temporary emomotional BS as we see coming out after this tragic event. And to protect from Socailist such as yourself, who would love to see US Citizens lose all their liberties and freedoms. And use this tragic event to further the disarmament of the US Citizens. Like I said, it hurts noone but the person deciding not to where one. If I don't want to where one, I shouldn't have to. They're dictating to me what I can and can't do with my personal health, which is not right. Kind of like Obamacare. Yeah, it is an affront to my personal liberties. For the record, I do where a seatbelt. I'm just saying that it shouldn't be up to the government to tell me what I can and can't do to my body as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else.

YH, please enlighten us as to how DOMA is in direct discord with the Constitution? There is a big difference between Constitutional law, and the law of the land. DOMA doesn't violate any of the Bill of Rights or Constitutional Amendments, and it was passed as a legislative law, that I can remember. If the SCOTUS rules that a law is unconstitutional, then that is the majority interpretation of how the law is interpreted by that particular court and it's composition; but it doesn't always mean that it actually is. Unfortunately our laws are often established and the scope of limitations of those laws by the SCOTUS, which may be overturned by another SCOTUS ruling when the composition of the court is changed. I know I have forgotten a lot of things over the years, but I don't remember any section or amendment that pertains to marriage, or sexual preferences of civilians or military. I seriously doubt that homosexuality was a very common item of discussion in the 1700's; although I'm pretty sure there were many homosexuals living in the country back then (especially considering that it's been around as long as mankind has existed). The difference is that it wasn't out in the open, until the latter part of the last century.

Ummmm, okay YH, I readily admit to NOT reading any post since your orginal which prob attacked you as a left wing commie nut case for daring to ask a question....soooo....that aside, here is my answer in a broader sense.

Libs have created a stigma on calling someone Mentally Ill----pass a d@mn law that requires Mental Health Professionals to report fruitcakes that are a danger to themselves and others.

remove the gun free zone signs that invite nuts to shoot them up---let teachers who wish, take the training, carry in schools.
My Ruger 10-22 looks like an assault rifle---evil black but it ain't no assault rifle...got a lot of after market add-ons
By original definition, assault rifles (fully auto) have been regulated since the 1930's
I can take six ten round clips and empty them within 30 seconds of you empting two 30 rounds clips
Thus I have a simple straight forward solution to drive Libs up the wall----report nuts and arm teachers!

YH You continue to ignore the fact rhat Homosexuality is not normal in nature. However birth defects or a normal occurance. Drop the PC Crap and call it mentally retarded. You want to make a law for a behavior that has no basis in nature so mentally retarded people can feel good about their Abnormal, Un-natural behavior. And use the fact that many are just getting tired of hearing about it, and say what ever. It don't mean they agree with it, and or don't care they are just tired of hearing about it. You use it to question a document, which protects freedom and liberty and the pursuit happines. But I do not believe that pursuit of happines pretains to deveant and un-natural behavior, by somone with a mental disorder. If You/the Socialist can discredit the Constitution or those Who defend it and our way of life in any, that is your goal. You/Socialist could give a Rats Butt, about the People. Just your Socialist agenda and how to talk the USA people into excepting. Moral or not I don't know, but natural Homosexuality is not. But lowering of morals or causeing disagreement and discontent, is a way of going about dividing the people. Our Constitution give you that right to spread your BS in an attempt to further your Socialist agenda and discredit those who oppose you, however you can.

You Sir Are one of the Wolves spoke of in other theads, seeing you any other way is Denial. Evil can be very inteligent, deceptive and convenceing but still no less Evil.

That's interesting...
So- because I support DOMA, in your "mind", that somehow equates to me being evil?
While, to be sure, you have every right to voice your opinion, your overt stupidity doesn't really help your side's argument. Maybe sit back a while and watch your superiors have a go at me... you might learn something. But I doubt it.
The REAL truth of the matter is- most people don't want the truth. They want what they want to hear.
