Hey everyone, I just got done testing the Trail Camera Visor through StuffStuff and figured I would let you know how I felt about it.  It is a good tool, not a great one, and there is no way that I would ever spend $25 on a piece of plastic and a nylon strap, but I would recommend it to people that find it on sale.  It improved my picture quality.  There was less glare from the sunlight in my photos and I felt that the protection it provided my camera from the elements was superb.  The problem that I have with it is that you can only really use it on a substanital tree (you need to be able to wrap your hands around it without being able to touch your fingers together) or else it will wobble a little and you wont be able to tighten it down properly.  It has four slots in the back to adjust the size, but on the smallest it just didn't give enough contact area.  You also cannot attach it directly to the camera itself, which means if you place your camera where there are not trees or large fence posts (like on a metal rod) then you will not be able to use this product.  I do recommend this product, if you find it on sale mind you, and recommend that they lower the price.  I would buy it for $15, but as is I could make my own visor out of sheetmetal for far less than $25 using just a hammer a vise and a pair a sheers.  These things do work though, they help keep your camera out of the elements, and help your camera focus by blocking sunlight.
