You are a newbie, so you'll be getting them quite often. If you don't want them, don't open the package and just mark it "refused return to sender" and pop it back in the mail. I believe there are 24 books in the series, so you'll be getting a lot of them and at (if I remember correctly) $24.99 a pop, that adds up to quite a bit of money. Once the books are done, then it will be the silver coin collection, and after that the knife collection, and so on and so on. You can always send the club a PM and ask them to stop sending the "try it and buy it" stuff. Just remember you did agree for them to send all of this to you when you signed your membership agreement and unlike what some people might suggest, if you do keep the stuff, you are responsible for paying for it because of that agreement. I will tell you that if you refuse enough of the items and the company has to pay the return postage often enough, they will eventually get the idea and stop sending a lot of it.

Do what I did. Call Member Sevices and tell them not to send you anything unless you request it. Only took me ten or so calls but they stopped sending me anything unsolicited. GOOD LUCK.

... or what I did. When I talked to them I simply told them I didn't have the money or the time to read the books, and to not send me anything else. Only one call.

I noticed after Bill Miller resigned, I stopped getting them. May just be a coincidence. Just remember, the first item in ANY group is very cheap. 7 or 8 bucks. They lead you to believe that's what they'll all cost. It even comes with a postage paid return box. If you keep the first one, the next ones will be a lot more expensive, and YOU have to pay the return shipping. I don't think it's a bad deal though, as you can't buy this stuff from any store, anywhere. But I think the "club" would do better if they just put all this stuff in an online merchandise store and allow everyone to shop for it and pick out what they want.

Yep, think I called and told them to stop. It's been a long time... It may have taken a while but I don't get anything anymore. I kinda miss the zipper-pulls though...

YEAH, I want some zipper pulls. A bunch for inlaying in some calls. I did get the books years ago. I have all but 1 or 2 then they stopped. Lil'Bit likes them and reads them to learn more about hunting. She reads, asks me questions and then reads a bit more. 15 minutes of reading gets about 2 hourts of questions. Personally I LOVE it.

IF you don't want them, then tell them. Call the 1-800 number and use option 8
