Is there such a thing as calling too much when turkey hunting? How much is too much?

Call as little as possible.(spring hunting) If he is still on the limb just a couple of yelps to let him know you are there. Let the gobbler dictate how much you need to call. If he is coming your way call just enough to keep up with his location. If he is close don't call at all just scratch in the leaves like a feeding hen it will drive him crazy and he will come in.
