Has anyone archery hunted spring gobblers in the Chadron Nebraska area ? I'm curious to know what the terrain is like, and if one can use a game cart to get back in with a ground blind and some decoys .

Thanks

I have no knowledge of the area but I am not sure why you would need a game cart unless you have some special reason for using one. The equipment you will need should not be that cumbersome, one or two decoys should be enough and the ground blind I have folds into a small backpack which easily carried. I have hunted in some rough areas and have never thought I needed a game cart but you may have good reason for using one, regardless good luck on your hunt.

Thanks for your reply MitchR.  Couple reasons I like to use a cart is : I'm 75 years young, and my blind is the hub type(used to use the pop ups but out west wind can blow fierce) got two hen and full strut gobbler decoys, plus food, water for a full day, and hopefully will be coming out with two 23/25lb gobblers !!!!!. Years ago I used to put those pop ups on my back, along with a chair and still walk out with two gobblers and not be tired.

I now understand better why you are using a cart, makes perfect sense. Well hopefully someone from the area will pop in with a description of the terrain
