I live in MI, i have a huge buffalo mount im looking to sell, the bases are about 14in in diam, from base to tip 15in, tip to tip 21.5in, top of hump to bottom of chest is about 48in, and from wall to nose is about 48in, i cannot deliver so it must be picked up, im asking $2500 obo, e-mail me for pics, chris.prater@rocketmail.com

Chris,
Cabela’s will sometimes buy good quality mounts to put in their stores.  You will need to contact Mark Dowse at Cabela’s.  You will need to send him photos  and what you want for your mount. This is the address and contact information.

Yep ! The problem is that one can buy a mount from those who cater to restaurants for their decor and one can be had for a much cheaper price if bought from an individual. Be sure and look around your area for steakhouses and such that use a western type decor and you might be able to make the sale to them for close to what you are asking. The best of luck to you on selling it. I am not trying to discourage you in the least just trying to give you the info I have from my personal experience when selling any mounts to a business.
