I'm looking for advice.  While stationed in WY my father came out from PA to hunt elk with me.  Over the years he has been blessed to take a couple of raghorns and a cow.  He is now 69 years old and I'm trying to get him set up with info on a guided hunt.  He is still capable of getting around alright.  I told him this past Oct during deer season I would see what info i could find out.  I am a life member and he is a charter life member of NAHC and doesn't know how to use computers.  Any help from his fellow members would be great.

Thanks folks,
buckstopper03

I am 75 years old and returned from a cow elk hunt in Colorado the latter part of October.  I have been to the same area about 8 or 9 times.  Have killed a bull, spike, and two cows.  Two of my hunts were bow hunts without any kill but did miss a cow and called in a great bull but never got a shot at him.  If you would like to email me, I would be glad to tell you where I hunt with my group and put you in touch with a great outfitter.  emai:  hamklm2@sbcglobal.net

Hope I can help you, Herman McHan

And you don't want to promote the outfitter here.... why? Information exchange is what this place is all about. Going back channel for questions sux and is extremely disrespectful to the rest of the community. Of course, that's just my opinion...

In fact sir, this is what i'm looking for.  Information on outfitters capable of handling older members with a decent chance of picking up a good bull.  The location is really not a big issue.

If that was directed to me, I understand that. My comments were directed toward elkdeerman.

Steve, my post was to try and help buckstopper. I gave him my private email in case he wanted to reply to me. I did not want to give other private information because of people such as you. It is sad when you try to help someone and then a person like you, that the post was not even intended for, makes such a rude comment. Your post should answer you own question. Please keep such rude opinions to yourself.

No, what's rude is people like you who post things like "If you would like to email me, I would be glad to tell you where I hunt with my group and put you in touch with a great outfitter"

As in the rest of us aren't good enough to read your information.... now THAT'S what's rude! If the truth hurts, I can't help ya. And, NFW am I going to keep my opinions to myself! ESPECIALLY when someone's acting like you.

Buckstopper03 If your father doesn't mind riding horses. We have a great camp in the Big Horn Mountains.
