Hello all! I currently live in Wisconsin and have my house for sale and if I sell within the year my wife and I plan on moving to Colorado! We're looking at the castle rock area, anyone have any suggestions? I'm also a big into hunting and fishing! So any input would be great!

You might want to do a satalite view of castle rock before ya decide to move there. I have only driven through it on I-25 I was stationed in Alaska and loved it Colorado is the closest I have come to the beauty of Alaska you will love it here. I lived in Wisconsin the first 12 years of my life loved it there also just not as much as the other 2 states

I am a long time resident of Colorado. I would like to answer any questions you may have about moving here. The hunting is tremendous as is the fishing. The beauty of the mountains is unsurpassed, in my opinion. You must have reasons for looking at the Castle Rock area and if I know more about what you want and need, I can maybe be of better assistance. Castle Rock is a very nice place to live, West of I-25. The East side is more like living on the plains. I'll help in any way that I can. I wouldn't live anywhere else.

Thanks for all the input! I have my house for sale and whenever it goes then about 6 months after we'll be moving! I appreciate everything and don't know anyone there so its a big move for me! But ready to try something different! Will have to leave my big boat at my parents cabin, but all fishing gear and small pram and all hunting gear will be coming with! Is there any small game hunting there for my yellow lab? I'm looking forward to getting to know the area!
Thanks Bill
