Hello fellow members, I am a avid hunter, and this year I put up a new trail cam in my woods (3 total on the property)  and on this camera every night from the day I have put this camera up I have coyotes visiting this area every night, as many as 4 in a pack. I want to get rid of them and have never trapped anything without using a havard trap. What are the best ways of doing this, foot traps, snares, shooting them, I am up for anything, I will being doing this with my uncle and brother, for three weeks now I have only seen 2 deer, (and its gun season) and trail cam pics have been only getting 1 or 2 deer. The last time out I had 106 pics, 8 deer pics, and the rest were coyotes and racoons, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!!!!!

Where are you felloa? The systems always in maintance when I use it to find the users location.
I don't have anything to do for a while, and could come up, over, down.. wherever you are and help you with the problem.

My go to choice would be foothold traps in size 1.75 or 2 coilspring traps. I'd make mainly dirthole sets. But if you can see the trails they're using a blind set would be in order. Make sure your traps are bedded rock solid or they'll get dug out.

like gutpile says, a dirthole set, i dig a hillside place trap and bait inside, try and wire trap to a tree, or branch! then i use scent on a rag suspended over the trap sight! best of luck to you!

I wouldn't use wire to fix a coyote trap in place. Either double stake with 1/2"x24" rebar or use cable stakes. If your ground won't hold stakes 4' of chain and a drag.

thats ok gut everyone has thier own opinion, i used to use 1000 pound test piano wire easier to hide and alot lighter! for me weight is the major factor!! never lost a dog but in washington here now you have to use the live and humane traps so i am pretty much done!
