Serious Swamper? Why are you asking this question from different states when you can easily look up the info yourself?

the shotgun season starts Nov.26 thru Dec 2 .....then we have 2 more days on the 15th and 16th of Dec.   licsense is $125.00 and a deer tag is $24.00 you can buy 3 tags but can only take 1 buck with antlers 3 inches or longer and our muzzleloader season is Jan 5,6,7,8  which your tags are still good for if not used bow season goes out  Feb 3rd tags are still good for bow season as well..............not a bad deal for a chance at a trophy ......good luck if you choose to make the trip

I didn't mean to be a smart azz, just honest? Especially when planning a trip, you want the most accurate and updated information you can get to make the trip pleasurable and worry free. Seeing folks posting on different threads asking the same info normally throws up a red flag and questions the hunters abilities? Sorry if I offended you in any way.
I have a brother-in-law who hunts in your state, you have some really nice bucks down there.
I dropped a nice 7 point on our regular season opener yesterday.  If you plan hunting NY we have a LOT of state forest to choose from.
