Well black powder season opened it Virginia this past weekend.  Who did what?  I killed a big bodied deer with some smallish 3 point horns.  (Glad to get him out of the breeding population with those horns).
They can have my guns when they can pry them from my cold dead fingers. A man with a gun is a citizen, a man without a gun is a subject.

Congrats on your kill. I just got back from deployment about a week ago and am really looing forward to the firearms opener on the 17th to get my first real opportunity to get one myself.
