Greetings everyone taking my kids hunting starting in November evey other weekend, yes Divorced father, we will be hunting public access sites here in Will County, my question is are we in full Rut, or going into post Rut? |

I am in SW Illinois and we are still in pre-rut down here. You could be possibly hitting early rut up there but also could still be pre-rut. I have heard that full rut isn't expected down here until the second week of November. Not sure how they can predict it but that's what I have heard. Next week aught to be good too. |

Appreciate the feed back I googled it just to see says second week of November should get hot, hoping to put my daughter on a Mature Doe and my son on a decent Buck will see how it goes....thanks for the reply..... |
