Shi, ain't sure I have yet to find a reliable source for actual value of a firearm....you got any advice?



 

I have an aquaintence who lusts after my Win 37 Red Letter 28 gauge.....but I don't wish to break up "set"---yeah, I got all five in red letters....any idea? All are NRA VG at worst.....from Dad's collection...

Best place to find real-world values is Gunbroker.com and watch what people are asking for guns vs. what bids are actually being made. Blue Book is good for "theoretical values.

Bud offered me $1500 for 28 gauge....I told him then I would be in shape you are....just need a 28 to fill out "set"....

I want a nice SxS 28 ga someday. It is just such a classy gauge and sleek gun size. But for whatever reason anything in that bore is too pricey for me. Hope to find a sucker some day at a yard sale with a gently used Purdy 28 with a $50 price tag.
