After a few fun days of chasing Mulies around my son & I headed home for some Blacktail action. He switch from his rifle to a bow and he bagged his first buck Monday morning. He had a great shot and it was lights out in less than 15 minutes. He is one proud 12 year old. On a side note the property owner was very delighted that we got him. That little guy had scared her inside her house a few times.

Jrobotakay knows this but his son spotted my first coyote for me, and he also spotted my blacktail from earlier in the year. That is one kid that loves to hunt. Glad to see he got his deer. Thats awsome.

Very nice deer I can still remember my first deer I got when I was 12 years old with a bow like it happened yesterday. Its been 12 years since then, and I will always cherish the memories of that day hunting with my father back then

Thank you and the memory is as fresh as yesterday. He's got great patience and a good eye, it's a lot of fun to hunt with him. We went out bow hunting pheasant last weekend and had a great time. The time is the best part. I look forward to many years of hunting with him.
