Well I promised I would give you feedback on the TC Venture I purchased last fall. As you might already know there was a safety recall on the Venture and mine was one of them. TC checked it out and had it back to me in two weeks. I shot it in after getting it back and it shot groups that were sub MOA and still is shooting sub MOA groups this fall. I found  the bolt design to be really good with a 60 degree lift and clears my Elite scope with no problems. The recoil of my 7mm mag is very managable and I can shoot it all day with no sore shoulder and that is due to the ample recoil pad on the Venture. Probably one of the things that got me looking at the Venture was the price point at which they sell. It is hard to believe that you can get so much gun at a relatively modest price.  Everything about the Venture shows great design and it is guaranteed for a lifetime. I would buy another Venture in a heartbeat.

Thanks ! I do remember when you got it and your posting here. With the new machines and new materials all modern rifles should be at least MOA firearms and now knowing that yours is shooting sub MOA makes suggesting it to others a simple matter. Thanks again as I always appreciate when someone keeps us all updated after buying a new firearm.

I own a Venture in 30-06 ,it was recalled and they had the gun back to me in a 12 days,I am very happy the way the gun shoots,it is very accurate, not to heavy and handles very well.I would recommend this rifle to any one looking for a good gun at a fair price.

Sorry lefties, but I have to say I agree with the rest. I just bought one chambered in .243 Win a few months ago. With my handloads I'm shooting same hole at 100 yards, and roughly 3/8 inch groups at 200 yards. I just got back from a hunt in Wyoming and got a pronghorn at 420 yards. I love that gun, and I'd buy another one in a second!!

.308 is a standard long action, but none of the wsm cartridges are, since wsm means winchester short magnum.

I'm sorry, what I meant was it's a long cartridge. After all the .308 is a variant of the .30-06, just like the .270, and the .7mm-08, whereas the .300 is not. Also, I seem to remember reading that the Venture is available in .308, or am I getting it confused with something else?
