Wisconsin southern zone opened up this past weekend. Ended up with 17; Wood ducks, blue-winged, and green-winged teal. Should've had a few more probably, but you know how that goes. LOL. Hopefully this upcoming weekend treats us well again.

How are all of you duckers doing?
Every sunrise I take in over a marsh or in a forest, I thank God for all he has given us.

Dany, we do not open up here in MD until mid November. Just pulled the decoys out last week-end and started to swap the boat over from crabbing to duck hunting. (Well put the crabbing stuff away and thought about getting out the blind for the boat, did not quite get there however.

The season doesn't open for a few weeks here in the central valley of California. We just now got some weather that is below 100 degrees and hope it contiues to drop before duck season opens.

Out here in Nebraska our zone opened up this past weekend and it was pretty slow! We only bagged a blue wing and a few green heads. We were hunting a few basins and Sunday morning we were having to break ice! Best of luck to everyone!

Rough past weekend; 1 woodie and 1 bluebill. After that cold streak all the woodies and teal left, and the northern migration hasn't started. I think I'll be sitting in a tree this weekend. LOL

Yep, just a little cooler sends the Woodies and Teal on a journey!
Go kill a deer!

But maybe the cold front will send you some more dos gris, i.e. Bluebill, i.e. Scaup....

Saturday was our opener here in Idaho. Worst opener I have ever had in the Teton valley! Three guys and we got 3 ducks. Normally get our limits on opening morning. Not sure what is going on this year.

Still too warm North of you....???
Last time I hunted ID for Elk, we took a long cut home and drove down that valley----got to be one of the most beautiful drives a man can make!

Rough opening 2 weeks in the Saginaw Valley area of Michigan. All the managed waterfowl areas are having difficulty flooding the corn fields due to low water in Saginaw Bay. High south winds and low water have made it extremely difficult for those that hunt on Saginaw Bay to even launch their boats. Lots of dry field hunting and hope for north winds; but it is still better than being at work.

Here in the central valley of California the club did great opening weekend. Everyone limited out both days and I went out Wednesday on my bithday and got a limit in less that 2 hours. 2 pintails, mallard, gadwal, gren wing teal, and 2 spoonies. Going back out this weekend and hope it is half as good due to the birds are now educated, and we will need some seriuos weather up north to get the birds to come off the 1 million acres of rice and corn fields in Sacramento.

Haven't shot a duck for four weeks I think. Too busy chasing Whitetails. LOL. Seen some big ones but haven't had a shot. The rut is on, though!
