Yes in deed.. I'll be working in Traverse City this week. Salmon in the morning, work in the afternoon and bow hunt in the evening! |

Well no luck for me yet, but only because I'm too picky. I was hunting in the Western U.P., Bird hunting, and fishing were real good this year, but Deer hunting was a little disappointing.
Last year there were a lot of small bucks in the area, and I expected to see a few racked bucks, but only had Does and little ones come by me. So no Deer yet.
I wrote a little of what happened Deer hunting this year in the Whitetail Deer Hunting Forum.(Some poeple have all the luck.)
A friend of mine at work has already found several scrapes along a tree line next to his Grandfathers corn field near Grand Haven.
And another friend that set up a game camera, had 5 nice bucks in his hunting area in Allegan County in the middle of September, now hasn’t even seen a track. (Maybe E.H.D.)
A lot of dead deer in Allegan County, when we got back, my hunting buddy from Hamilton, found another dead deer next to his neighbor’s pond.

went out 4 times this year and i have one high rise 8 point im looking at hes got no brow tines just 4 on top cool looking buck hoping heat comes in sson so he can make a mistake

well I can't complain because I didn't do any pre season legwork...up at my place if you don't do something to bring them around you lose.
....on the other hand I'll wait a few days and then complain. hehehehe |
