Dang Tood that looks just like the one that was putting a sneak on my finger that was twirling a little pine tree a a few years ago. I'm guessing here but from it's size it looks to be a Tom, am I right ? Nice job by the taxi man !!!

Actually it is a female. The taxidermist said it was one of the biggest he'd seen in our parts. Shot it Nov before last on my land a little while before dark while deer hunting. Just happened to have my custom .257 Rbts I built myself in school for the purpose of dual varmint and deer hunting. Saw it reverse-following the blood scent trail of the buck I'd hauled out that morning. It was nearly 200 yds away give or take a tad and the stars lined up so while frantically scanning grass with the scope for it after the initial glimpse, her ear twitched and I realized at that moment the cross hairs were square on her left shoulder and she was broadside. The finger slapped that trigger almost before I had to think about it and she tore up through the briars into the gloom. Took maybe 10 mins to find the 1st blood and another 10-15 mins crawling through briars to locate her stone dead. She is likely one of my chicken-thieves. Always desired to shoot a bobcat but had only caught fleating glimpses usually while holding the wrong gun at the time for years until that one lucky night.

That is large for a female and it's most likely from your chickens as well as others who have lost animals in your neighborhood. Most around here are good sized as well with the Tom's usually being the larger ones as they are well fed also and many have lost small pets and one feller lost 5 Goats in a matter of a couple of weeks.
