Has anyone tried these on game?  I can't use FMJ and finding LRN in stock is becoming really hard.

Based on my experience with the old S&W Nyclad ammo of the 1970's, I'd suspect it performs much like FMJ, drilling straight small holes, but deforms some when it hits something really hard like bone. Definitely NOT for large game, but OK for rabbits, woodchucks, etc. Don't expect much of anything in the way of stopping power.

I have not tried the TNJ, Total Nylon Jacket, bullets from Herter's, but I would say they are going to perform simular to FMJ bullets, no expansion.

I tried some of the Herter's standard ammunition in one of my firearms and had lots of failure to feed problems. I wont buy anymore Herter's ammunition.
