You can disable the texting on your phone - both incoming and outgoing. I did it but I had to call Verizon to get it done.

Hey, I played around with my phone, and found out that the app I needed to use, isn't one in the app section! I actually was able to record both a grunt call and a doe bleat. Travis said the grunt call was too scary to use, so I set the doe bleat as my new ringtone. I even figured out how to put one of my older big buck pictures up as the wallpaper for the damn phone! This is becoming to weird. Yesterday, I figured out how to clean up my computer and get it running faster (although according to CenturyLink I need a new modem), and today I figured out the cell phone! Tomorrow I might figure out how to make sure that Obama doesn't get reelected...........and all of this without staying at a Holiday Inn last night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NRA LM, NAHC LM, Buckmasters LM, Second Amendment Foundation, GOA, NAGR, Palmetto Gun Rights, DU, NWTF, QDMA, Everyday Hunter,OYOA, ASAdspalliance,D& DH, and PROUD SC redneck REBEL for life. If the South had won the war, Obama wouldn't be in the White House.

Saturday morning while in my stand on the river I spotted a 6pt buck on sand bar across from me. I thought it would be a good time to practice so I got out grunt tube and gave a quick grunt. I didn't know if he heard it so I give a couple longer, louder grunts. That got his attention. He went on up the steep bank and stood there looking my way. When he would stop looking I gave some more grunts, and got the bleat-in-heat can call and gave it a few bleats. He stayed up on that bank slowly heading west along the bank edge. I tried to stay hidden from him and lost sight of him. I spot him a little farther to the west but he turned and went south into the thick cover. Then I noticed that wasn't the first one I had been watching, I spotted him again 30 yds. back. He finally turns around comes back down the bank and starts coming across the river coming straight to me. He gets to about 30 yds on sand bar then trots on up into a willow tree thicket beside my stand. I had to cough and watched him come out and trot across the clearing into the woods. I can only shoot one buck and have already gotten mine the second week of the season but it was fun having him come in. For a 6pt. he was a nice buck. g2s were about 5 in. bigger than most of the fork horns I see.

I hunted my ladder stand in woods only about 100yds north of my river stand. I took the last of the apples (about 8) from Tom's vegetable stand that he is closing for the season and dumped them out on a trail 15yds from the stand. It was 6:15 before I got there at 6:40 I spot a young buck come from the east crosses fence and stops perfectly broadside and is sniffing the apples. I can't shoot him either, dang it. He works his way on around me and heads to the corn feeder by the other stand.
