Nope, you weren't holly.

Maybe it's time for me to GTFO again for a while... I just seem to stir things up I guess. Do I post? yea, when I have somethin' to say. Am I retired? After 38 years of working my a off, yeah. I still ain't gonna apologize to anybody but may take a leave. I just tend to call a spade, a 'f'ing shovel".

There is not one of us " oldtimers " who have not been cussed, name called, and told to go away ! You know what I have more respect for those like myself who refuse to do so. I have been involved in some true knockdown and dragouts in the old days that would get a member banned now. I like Steve, RT, and Holly have the tendacy to be honest and call things the way I see them. Does it make me always right ? Nope ! But others know where I stand and I will offer help to ANYBODY who needs or asks for it and do it without regards as to how others feel. Steve don't you go nowhere and just keep posting as you always have. There have been through the years many who have come and gone that came here and complained from day one and that's OK but then don't turn around and get all upset and name call when others don't agree or pat you on the back. This Club is a business and is run for a profit and it's that simple. Either join and become a member and if you don't like it then don't renew your membership. So now come on with it !!!

Steve, one thing I forgot to point out. Why don't you go back and reread the post that you thought I had made an apology in. Read it very carefully and reflect on the wording and the underlying message in that post. I think you'll realize that it wasn't really an apology, but actually a sarcastic statement to someone who didn't have a clue! I reference the very first sentence as the basis of the sarcasm!!!!!!! Then the last sentence was a direct right hook in response to his previous comment.

Hell, I look at people like him as providing the comic relief, along with the other posters who want their freebies and continue to post their member numbers.

Hello it's me again. I'm not attacking anyone I defended myself, and I'm glad Steve and rt got a laugh out of it. I will keep my comments to myself from now on. There was no need for any apologies, I've got thick skin too and I can be sarcastic also but I won't lower myself to someone else's level. Thanks and have a great season to all.

Oh yeah and by the way I'm not lazy or stupid, I've been teaching my disabled grandsons sign language and to walk and all sort of other things that are important in life, like respecting other's and not judging them by something they might have said, or commented on.

sigh!I hear you holly.   jwolfer,I don't know why you joined the club but if it was for free chit nothing is free.and you will find most here don't like people who whine about not getting freebies.I MYSELF HAD VERY LITTLE LUCK THE FIRST FEW YEARS I was a member, but since stuff-stuff took over I have been pleasantly surprised by how often I have been picked to test something,(3 times last year).the more effort you put into the testing program the better your chances are of testing something but you have to be patient and follow the rules and build your points before you will get any high priced items if you joined to maybe make some friends and possibly learn something and share your own knowledge, then welcome to the club and jump right in to the forums.this club like anything worthwhile is what you yourself make of it
so goes the church, so goes the nation

jwolfer, if you go back and read through the forums, you'll find that the purpose and concentration of the NAHC, isn't concerned with the gun control issue. They have stated those issues are up to the NRA and other gun rights organizations; although since Gordy Krahn has taken over, there seems to be a slight shift in that attitude.

First time posting here. Thank you all for the opportunity. I just wanted to add a piece from my perspective for what it's worth. I agree that I was mildly dissapointed at the lack of opportunity to test more products. But I have to say that I have appreciated so much more the opportunity to simply be a member. I have gained a great deal of insight and tips from reading the articles in the magazine and blogs. I respect each and every one of you and thank you for the knowledge that you freely pass along. So much so, that after being a member for a little over a year I decided to bite the bullet and become a life member. Like with many of you, times are tougher and it has been a sacrifice. But I felt the intangible benefits were worth it. Sorry to be such a windbag, but I felt there needed to be something here to reinforce the positive comments made by some. Good luck to everyone in the efforts afield!
