Are you tired of all the popups
Yes (15)
 94%
No (1)
 6%
Who else is tired of all the popups when you log in to the site? You now have the side bar with Facebook and other choices that you can't get ride of, along with the popups when you enter the contests.

The fact that you can't get rid of them REALLLLLLLLLLLLY crumbles my cookie.  Can't procede with connecting with anything else.  T he computer "genius" who thought up this gimmic should get a do-better talk.

I found that if I put my curser on the connect before it all comes up it works just fine .If you wait though it kills you .

My big thing with the pop-ups us that you get it on every move you make. Hit enter contest, clear pop-up, try navigate back to home page, clear pop-up and so forth. It is irritating to have to do it over and over.

If the pop-ups were simply there for the members to enter the contests, it wouldn't be so bad. But, when it requires us to sign up or go to facebook or be a user of facebook to enter, that's when I really get pizzed!!!!!!!!!! This site is the official site of the NAHC, we don't need facebook or twitter, or the upcoming you tube. If all we wanted was one of the "social networking" sites that's open to every azz wipe in the world, we wouldn't want or need the Hunting Club. com site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just as our magazine is slowly going away, to be replaced by the virtual magazine, and the smart phone tag..........I guess eventually our site will also be absorbed by those fugged up places that the company is trying to blackmail us into visiting. Well, it ain't gonna work for all of us, I'm going to remain my stubborn old Rebel hardheadedness and refuse to play their damn game! So, facebook, twitter, you tube, and whatever else they come up with can kiss my GRITS, dammit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess I don't know what I do different, I might get one pop up right when I log on and it usually seems like it is a Melissa Bachman add.

Since I'm permanently logged in, the pop up comes up every time I come to the site. I can click on the x to close it, go down the home page to the survey question, and have to click on the x to close it again, then when I enter the Scoutlook section, I have to click on the x again. When I go into the contests and go to the gear giveaway, then once again I have to click on the x to close it. From that point on, I can do the click and win and the ar15 contests and go to the forums without having it pop up any more. Originally when this began, it was for the ar15 contest, then it became the Pick the prize, and next it was the call the shots. Now it's the Kids in the outdoors..........all of them are contests designed to get you on facebook!!!!!!!!!! That's what makes them so damn irritating!!!!!!!!!!

I detest pop-ups and even contacted member services about them. It has decreased the frequency that I visit this website!
