Wishing all CT bow hunters a great start to the season this Saturday. I hope all of you bring home fine does and leave the bucks for me.   I will not be able to get out until Monday, unfortunately.
The weather looks to be warming up a little, which is regrettable, but it is not forecast to be as hot as last year's opening day. I remember sitting there getting bitten as I steadily sweated away.

ANY NEWS ABOUT CROSSBOWS AND NEXT SEASON (2012/2014)?
I had shoulder surgery in January and am still not right, I'm still in PT and they don't like me shooting my hunting bow.  I can shoot 6 arrows at 60Lb and then the pain will stay with me all night . I've tried sitting in my stand with oxycodone going around my system and it is not the safest option, light headedness at 20 feet and all that.
If crossbows are legal for all in CT it will save me jumping through a few hoops.
