Patta, Colorado is defintely a great place to be for all things outdoors. Hunting on post is a bit of tough time as our MWR on post is a bit of a pain. I went on my first elk hunt this year and got a 5x5 bull. M son and I just got back from an upland bird and goose hunt NE of Denver and got about12 pheasants/chukars and 8 geese. It has been a good year. Also, in JAN we are going on a deer hunt to south TX!! There is always something to do. We do have some really good regional brewing companies in the state but my favorite from DE is Allgauer Hefe
