I keep having visitors to the salt block.  I don't actively feed deer but I do allow the grass on the mound to grow in the fall.  The deer have been pawing through the snow and eating the grass lately.  With how late the snow came this year I expect to have good numbers in the fall.

TGJ,

I got some pictures during the sub zero weather.  The batteries don't last as long in the super cold weather.

I have read the batteries will work fine again when they are used in warm weather. They are not out of charge but just unable to deliver it when really cold. Lithium ion do a much better job in the cold. They cost more but do work in the cold.
